I spent yesterday trying to fit 0305 sockets into a super slim aluminum case and the clearance is tight but it works. Highly recommend going for the 7305 ones if you have the budget though. The extra 0.5mm save so much headache when you assemble everything. Anyone else prefer doing this over buying a cheap hotswap board. It feels way more custom 🛠️
