Lead-free solder needs higher temps, destroys pads, and grows tin whiskers like crazy... Almost like they want your custom PCB to die in three years so you buy more microcontrollers... I still use 63/37 leaded solder on all my builds and my joints look perfct. Who decided we should inhale worse flux fumes just to save a landfill? Wake up... the big tech corps want planned obsolescence built right into your DIY board...
