Had three inductive clamp nodes go deaf on a taut-wire mooring line last shift. Surface readouts showed nothing but noise floor spikes every time the deck winch kicked in. Turns out marine growth had wedged into the split core gap just enough to ruin the magnetic circuit. Love scraping fouling off a five grand sensor package in horizontal rain at 3am ☕. Anyone using silicone boots on these or are we just doomed to haul them up every turnaround.
