Everyone keeps bragging about hacking giant 120mm fan grilles through the bottom of thirty year old plastics just because their modern rig is baking inside an old InWin or generic clone chassis. You are ruining the only irreplaceable part of the entire build for maybe a four-degree drop in core tempuratures that could have been solved with proper exhaust ducting. Air does not need to blast straight through the front faceplate to keep hardware alive, especially when bottom-floor intakes and rear high-static pressure fans do the heavy lifting without making the facade look like a butchered mess. If you cant figure out how to draft negative pressure through unused drive bays or draw clean air from the chassis floor, go buy a modern black mesh box instead of destroying vintage sheet metal and ABS with a shaky rotary tool.
