Every morning I check the news and find someone using 'begs the question' to mean they want to ask a follow-up. That is not how logic works. Circular reasoning deserves better than this lazy linguistic shrotcut. Someone please explain it to the talking heads before I lose the last shred of my sanity. My coffee is cold and the English language is dying in the gutter. It is exhuasting. Maybe we should just revert to grunting since nuance is dead anyway.
