Storing open reel tapes heads out is asking for post-echo to ruin everything. Print-through is just basic physics on thin backing, yet half the collectors still rewind before shelving like its a blockbuster rental 🙄 Storing tails out masks pre-echo under the transient signal. Basic archival discipline shouldnt be this rare.
