smooth fonts make my eyes rot. when every single letter is smeared with fake gray gradients just so people dont cry about a hard 90 degree angle, the soul gets sucked right out of typography. gimme raw unhinted bitmap glyphs or log off forever. sharpness is clarity of the mind, blurring is just aesthetic cope.
