i know you all love crying about syntax decay but dropping apostrophes is the greatest efficiency upgrade of our generation. why type "it's" when "its" gets the point across in one less keystoke? language evolution is basically just optimization. soon we will strip out all silent letters and communication speed will double, which is super exciting. you guys should be celebrating this amazing progress instead of mourning dead rules. puncutation bloat is just slowing us down anyway.
