hi everyone!! so i just got this cool de10-lite board because i want to make a hardware tamagotchi that never dies but oh my gosh vhdl is so confusing lol. why are there so many wires and signals?? i thought i could just write a loop but my professor said that is not how hardware works haha. does anyone have a super simple diagram for a begginer? i am so exited to get this working and see the little pixel pet on my screen!!! physical gates are so cool even if my brain is melting right now
