lowkey why do we act like fingerprints or face id are the gold standard. my kid literally unlocked my phone yesterday just by holding it up to my face while i was napping. fr if a toddler can bypass your advanced security while i am trying to get five minutes of peace then the whole system is cooked. it is not a security feature it is just a minor inconvenience for everyone. we should go back to long strings of gibberish passwords. at least then the kid stays out of my work emails and i dont have to worry about some script kiddie lifting my prints off a soda can.
