Got my hands on a discarded Kindle Paperwhite 3 with a cracked mainboard but the screen is pristine. It uses the ED060XCD panel. Most documentation online for these wavefrom files is garbage or locked behind NDA walls. Has anyone successfully written a custom driver for this specific panel without using the EPSON controller chip? Designing a custom PCB for the power rails is on the agenda since E-ink needs those weird +15V and -20V lines. Let me know if you have the pinout or a working timing diagram. This screen is too good to throw away.
